Purpose and responsibility
Reservation Hatao Andolan publishes civic education and policy advocacy. Content is published under the responsibility of Reservation Hatao Andolan, not attributed to unnamed experts or fabricated individual authors. The platform is responsible for reviewing, updating, and correcting what it publishes.
Source hierarchy
For constitutional and legal claims, we prioritize the Constitution, legislation, gazette material, official court judgments, parliamentary material, and government publications. For data, we prefer the original public dataset and methodology. Reputable scholarship and journalism may provide context but should not replace an available primary source.
Law, fact, analysis, and advocacy
- Current law is described with links to official text where reasonably available.
- Reported facts should identify their source and relevant date.
- Analysis explains implications or limitations and should not be presented as a court holding.
- Policy proposals are identified as the platform’s position, not existing legal requirements.
Review and update dates
Research explainers display a publication or review date. A date does not guarantee that no later development exists. Material legal or factual updates should change the review date and, where appropriate, be recorded in the corrections log.
Fairness and civil language
We criticise policies and institutions without targeting people for caste, community, religion, gender, region, disability, or other identity. We do not publish private personal information, unverified allegations, dehumanising language, or calls for harassment.
Digital and automated tools
Digital tools, including automated drafting, editing, code, and research-assistance tools, may support production. They are not treated as expert authors. Material claims should be checked against cited sources before publication, and responsibility remains with the platform.
Advertising and editorial separation
Advertising may appear on the website. Advertisers do not receive control over policy conclusions, membership records, source selection, or corrections. An advertisement does not constitute endorsement by RHA.
Corrections
Specific correction requests are reviewed against evidence. Material corrections should be made transparently rather than silently preserving a known error.
