Reservation Hatao Andolan (“RHA”, “we”, “our”) is an independent civic platform based in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. This policy explains how information is handled through reservationhataoandolan.in.
Information we collect
When you register, we collect your name, email address, state/city, selected participation role, profession or student status if supplied, optional mobile number, Code of Conduct acceptance, and registration time. We also store whether you chose to display email or mobile information on your member card.
How we use information
- To create and maintain your membership record.
- To communicate about membership and volunteer coordination.
- To generate the member card you request.
- To prevent duplicate registrations, abuse, and security incidents.
- To understand website performance when analytics consent is given.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
Member cards and sharing
Your email and mobile number remain excluded from downloadable and shareable cards unless you explicitly select the corresponding display option. A card is generated in your browser and is a community membership badge, not a government identity document.
Analytics and cookies
Google Analytics is used only after you accept analytics cookies. It may process information such as pages visited, approximate location, device/browser information, referral source, and interactions such as successful registration or sharing. Rejecting analytics cookies does not prevent you from using the website or registering.
Sharing and sale of information
We do not sell member information. Information may be processed by service providers that support website hosting, security, email, analytics, or legal compliance, only as necessary for those purposes. We may disclose information where required by applicable law or to protect users and the platform.
Retention
Membership information is retained while membership remains active. Limited records may remain temporarily in protected backups or where retention is reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
Correction and deletion requests
You may request correction or deletion by emailing eradicatereservation@gmail.com from the email address used for registration. We may request reasonable verification before changing or deleting a record.
Security
We use HTTPS, controlled server access, database safeguards, and reasonable technical and organisational measures. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so please avoid submitting information that is not requested.
Age requirement
Membership and registration are intended only for people aged 18 or above. We do not knowingly accept membership registrations from children.
Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy when the website, services, or legal requirements change. The updated effective date will appear at the top of this page.
